Ok, I have just been informed that it is my duty, no my privilege to write every fourth day. You have all been asking about Britt,
she and her Grandmother are packing-it around Chile and they will be joining us in the next couple of weeks. We have been eating at some amazing restaurants. Today we ate at Jacks Cafe, a restaurant with unusual food not Peruvian just delicious.
For my veggie friends there was a great verity and for everyone else there was a 100 other taste chooses. Mom, Dad, John and Liz do you guys remember when I came into meeting that time and you mom asked if I had garlic in my pocket ( I had been to Greek Town the night before)? Steve and Amy you were probably there too. Well this whole city smells as if it were built on a garlic patch. I love garlic, can't cook without it, but when your trying to get use to a different place, it don't smell so good.
They serve guinea pig here. Now you all my think it has to be the ugly cousin to the cute little pet we all had as kids, your wrong.
it is Fluffy or Felix or what ever you named your guinea pigs, distant relative. When you order the meal they are kind enough to ask us gringos if we would like the head removed, not the legs or tail so it still looks like a fur-less,decapitated Fluffy. No can do.
They also have little carts here that are divided into an upper and lower cage. The lower cage house a couple of over worked small
chickens of some sort and the upper has the tiny eggs they have worked so hard to lay. Behind all this on the same small cart is a burner and frying pan. You can,t get fresher then that (we will post a pic of this). Today we went to the market, unbelievable. The flowers the fruit and all the rest unbelievable and the spices of man you can not imagine the fresh spices.
The kids are getting along better here on the road, they know if they fight they have no other mates to hang with, it's great.
Well I better get to posting the pics and then calling it a night. Oh for all you brains out there no correcting grammar, spelling or run-on sentences, Thank-you
Have a great night
Adios

Oh my oh my your photos are so beautiful. Deb - thanks for sharing, and know that we love any word we can get from you. My mind is exploding with the possibilities for my own kids, and I'm blown away thinking how this is impressing a world view on Britt, Matt, Hannah, and Ian. We're all well and in the thick of ballet/ski season. Viv and I take a trip to NYC next month to audition at Lincoln Center for the Russian Kirov Ballet summer program in D.C. That's about it for excitement, but you've got us trying to plan a trip to Egypt, or maybe to track you guys down. Thanks for your bravery and for the inspiration.
love much always,
