hmmmm... today we went to the mega mart it was as big as the bridge street cafe ha! after going back to the hostal to eat some fooodzz me( ian) and matt went to the church all the way at the top over looking the city to play futbol. its pretty intresting they're doing some excavating in the church because it was built over an old Incan temple! What they think happened was that the spanish after they conquered cusco built over these incan temples on purpose to ruin their culture and/or because they thought were the temples sat was holy. okay..anyway after some soccer matt and i went with aussie matt to the molina outdoor market. it had everything!! it was soooooo big we got a couple of movies which were 3 soles each which is 1 dollar! and we also go a skype phone!! soo its easier to chat!! anyway it was a pretty easy goin day. we're gonna call it a night.

love you all, ciao!

Hey everyone !
We are in the new hostel .
Nothing great has been happening here.
We have been going to the market everyday to get fresh fruit and bread.
We have also been hanging out with a family that owns a delicious restaurant called 2 nations . They have three adorable kids , we take the older two to the market with us just so they can get out of the restaurant a bit and we really enjoy their company.
Playing soccer a lot.
Thats about it .

We have been getting emails from Brittiny . She seems to really love Chile. Her and grandma Townsend should be coming up here in a few weeks . Cant wait !!

We miss you all !
Let us know how VT,MI, and everywhere else is .
Love

Ok, I have just been informed that it is my duty, no my privilege to write every fourth day. You have all been asking about Britt,
she and her Grandmother are packing-it around Chile and they will be joining us in the next couple of weeks. We have been eating at some amazing restaurants. Today we ate at Jacks Cafe, a restaurant with unusual food not Peruvian just delicious.
For my veggie friends there was a great verity and for everyone else there was a 100 other taste chooses. Mom, Dad, John and Liz do you guys remember when I came into meeting that time and you mom asked if I had garlic in my pocket ( I had been to Greek Town the night before)? Steve and Amy you were probably there too. Well this whole city smells as if it were built on a garlic patch. I love garlic, can't cook without it, but when your trying to get use to a different place, it don't smell so good.
They serve guinea pig here. Now you all my think it has to be the ugly cousin to the cute little pet we all had as kids, your wrong.
it is Fluffy or Felix or what ever you named your guinea pigs, distant relative. When you order the meal they are kind enough to ask us gringos if we would like the head removed, not the legs or tail so it still looks like a fur-less,decapitated Fluffy. No can do.
They also have little carts here that are divided into an upper and lower cage. The lower cage house a couple of over worked small
chickens of some sort and the upper has the tiny eggs they have worked so hard to lay. Behind all this on the same small cart is a burner and frying pan. You can,t get fresher then that (we will post a pic of this). Today we went to the market, unbelievable. The flowers the fruit and all the rest unbelievable and the spices of man you can not imagine the fresh spices.
The kids are getting along better here on the road, they know if they fight they have no other mates to hang with, it's great.
Well I better get to posting the pics and then calling it a night. Oh for all you brains out there no correcting grammar, spelling or run-on sentences, Thank-you
Have a great night
Adios

Photos!

Hello!
Sorry we haven't been blogging much. We will get better at this , i promise.
So for the last few we have been running around looking for apartments , fun , but not so fun .
We also went to see a lot of ruins such as Saqsaywaman, Q' enqo, Pukapukara, Pisac, and more.
The boys have been going to the boys orphanage everyday now to play soccer , teach guitar and magic tricks , pretty much just hangout with them.
Hannah and Deb have been traveling around the city trying to find an apartment and finding where the good markets are .

Here are some photos ..
